Cardiac Care Week

Every year, during the month of February, Alpha Phis here at Georgia Tech celebrate Cardiac Care Week. During the week, sisters across campus raise awareness and sell candygrams in order to promote and raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation. Because the Foundation is all about supporting women’s cardiac care, the treats sold are always heart-healthy (dark chocolate!). At the end of the week, we hold the King of Hearts Pageant, which is a mock all-male beauty pageant which features prominent men on campus. Ladies always love this event, and it’s an excellent way for us to both raise awareness and make people laugh!
